Tips To Secure Your House From Thief's While Your Away Traveling

• Ask your neighbors to check your house daily (Also to water the plants if needed)
• Ask a friend to empty your letter box.
• Let your neighbors park their car(s) at your place so it looks like there is somebody home.
• Reroute your home phone number to your cell phone.
• Use a timer to turn on a off some lights in your house.
• Add additional looks on doors and windows.
• Store away valuables in a bank safe .
• Double check and make sure all windows and doors are really closed before leaving.
• Install a movement sensor with an alarm system (light or sound and if possible connected to a professional security company).
• In case your away for a long time, have a friend or relative living there.
• If your area has a neighborhood watch group inform them of your plans.
